TEKBios offers the service of executing bioassays with fish in ponds prepared for various experimental designs.
TEKBios, is a company that begins its operations in April 2021, as an initiative of the companies ADL Diagnostic Chile SpA (60%) and SOLIDO Ltda (40%), with the purpose of offer bioassay services for the aquaculture industry, with a focus on salmon farming.
TEKBios offers the service of executing bioassays with fish in prepared ponds for various experimental designs. Bioassay services include challenges with pathogens, genetic improvement program trials, product evaluation pharmaceutical, therapeutic and veterinary in general, as well as trials related to the fish nutrition and feeding.
TEKBios operates as an Experimental Center in the Neosalmon Fish Farm facilities (RNA 104146), which belongs to the company Salmones Rio Coihue S.A., the facility has with 300 m2 built, distributed in seven rooms and laboratories, with the capacity to operate to open flow and re-use of water, with availability of fresh water (well) and sea water, with automated temperature and oxygen control.
